Network Centers - for internet access, community media & organizing

The launch of MMP’s Computer Network Centers is an important step in our expanding initiative to connect communities across Philadelphia through digital literacy, education, communications and organizing.

The centers are free and open to the public, and will include trainings on basic computer skills, internet literacy, setting up email accounts, and much more. MMP also will provide trainings on digital storytelling and encourage center users to join us in telling the untold stories that will build a movement to end poverty.

Come visit any of the computer centers during open access hours.
To sign up for classes, workshops and trainings call (267) 820-9491 or signup online.

The network centers are part of The Freedom Rings Partnership a citywide effort funded by federal stimulus money to improve internet access and computer/internet skills in low-income, underserved communities. Why is this so important and exciting for Philadelphia? Because in this digital age, when computer and Internet access is a necessity, 41% of Philadelphians do not have access. The Freedom Rings Partnership aims to tackle this problem head-on.
