Please join the Southeastern Pennsylvania First Suburbs Project, co-sponsor Widener University, and other community leaders for a preview screening of The New Metropolis which will be released in September. Filmmaker Andrea Torrice' account of the rise and fall of the nation' older, developed first suburbs is comprised of two episodes: A Crack in the Pavement: Rebuilding America' First Suburbs; and The New Neighbors: How One Town Created a Vibrant, Integrated Suburb.
Reflections and a strategy session will follow the screening to engage audience members in discussing how we can work together to build power and influence policies that will restore equity and prosperity to our communities.
To register, email FirstSuburbsProject@gmail.com. Seating is limited. There is a $15 suggested donation, payable at the door.
