Launch of Campaign to End Violence in Our Schools

Date:
February 17, 2010 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm

On MLK day over 600 people from all walks of life took the first step towards creating a just and peaceful school system. Now it's time for the next one.

On Wednesday February 17th at 4:00pm during the School Reform Commission Meeting at 440 N. Broad Street young people and allies will be announcing a campaign
to end violence between students by building a nonviolent student
movement that also addresses the root causes behind the dangerous
climate in our schools and communities that pushes too many of our
young people into the streets and jails.

Please come out on Wednesday February 17th at 4:00pm during the School Reform Commission meeting at 440 N. Broad Street

Wear black to show your unity with the spirit of nonviolence and a commitment to standing up to injustice.

We will be presenting our message of peace with justice to the SRC and
District Leadership and asking for their support. Can you join us to
show yours?
