No Money for Workers Rights Abuses!

NO PUBLIC MONEY TO ABUSE WORKERS RIGHTS

Every day AlliedBarton security guards' rights are violated at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Moreover the company has shown that it is not willing to adequately protect the artwork and patrons at the Museum by properly training guards. Now the Museum is asking for $2.3 million from the City, which is currently in a budget crisis and cutting social services that are important to working people. We're calling on City Council to not reward this bad corporate behavior with taxpayer money.

Already the City covers and waives Museum costs that total at over $100 million. And while the Museum would survive without public money, our social services for working families may not.

Unless security guards get a voice on the job,

No public money for the Museum!
