The Future of the Internet Town Hall - Watch Live Today
Private corporations like Google and Verizon are making a stake on the terms and rules of the internet. They of course want to set those rules to favor their business models over access to tools and resources that are important for health, education, and creating jobs. Their couldn't be a more important time for the public to have our voice heard on the future of the internet.
Today is exactly that opportunity. In Minnesota right now people are gathering for a town hall meeting on the Future of the Internet in front of commissioners from the Federal Communications Commission. You can watch live starting at 7pm est. from right here to the testimony of people across Minnesota on why an open and equitable internet is important to all of us.
