Immersion Into The Depths Of My Commitment

These past three days of collective study and conversation have been really beneficial to my understanding and assessment of the state of poverty in the nation. Whether it was a presentation on the current state of the economy or a tour of Wall Street, I found myself feeling more and more in tune with my fellow organizers as well as the work we need to accomplish. This experience of shared knowledge and experiences as a collective has reaffirmed my conviction to really wanna be a part of the new and unsettling force to liberate the poor and working people of our nation united across color lines. There is something renewing about being surrounded by such a diverse and dedicated group of organizers that share my same sense of urgency and obligation to use our strengths and abilities to do work that will empower and drive the poor and working class to take action against the current system that demands us to be downtrodden and cast aside for the benefit of few.
